Motorola HKN6184 USB Programming Cable - DM Series Mobile Radios

The Motorola HKN6184 USB programming cable provides a stable USB-A connection between a PC and Motorola DM series mobile radios. It is used to program and update radios via Motorola’s CPS software, enabling firmware updates, synchronization, and detailed parameter configuration. The cable is approximately 125 cm long and features rugged, wear-resistant insulation for reliable, long-term use. Its high durability and dependable connection support quick programming of channels, frequencies, encryption, and other settings.

This cable is compatible with Motorola’s MOTOTRBO DM series (DM3400/3401, DM3600/3601, DM4400/4400E, DM4401/4401E, DM4600/4600E, DM4601/4601E). It also supports many other Motorola mobile radios, including the XiR series (e.g. M8220, M8228, M8260, M8268, M8620, M8628, M8660, M8668), DGM series (4100, 4100+, 6100, 6100+), XPR series (4300, 4350, 4380, 4500, 4550, 4580, 5350, 5550), APX series (4500, 6500, 7500), XTL series (1500, 2500, 5000), as well as TETRA MTM5400 and PM1500 radios.

It is designed for use with Motorola’s CPS software and connects to the radio’s front control-head via the standard 10-pin MOTOTRBO connector. The package includes the HKN6184 programming cable and a polypropylene storage bag (programming software not included).
